Looking at the great masters paintings is always a source of inspiration for our photography, in this series we have been experimenting to try and recreate the light found in the dutch still life painters.

 With the winter chill setting in and with my walks around the studio, I decided it was time for a treat.  Mini apple and cinnamon cupcakes with a dash of maple syrup and a lemon and creme fraiche icing was my idea, it turned out to be a tasty treat, with the apple making it slightly healthier and perhaps slightly more guilt free. Food photography and styling have been a passion of mine and sometimes its nice not to be just the photographer but to give a go at the food styling too.
